For over 35 years we’ve built performance rods one at a time on Bainbridge Island, WA. The same 27 sets of skilled hands that craft all Sage rods construct the FOUNDATION.

8 WT: The 890-4 FOUNDATION Outfit is a very versatile saltwater and big game rod, and includes a Sage Spectrum C reel reel, WF8F RIO Gold line, and a custom rod and reel case.
** All rods are 9'0" in length - the 6 WT does not have a Full-Wells Grip with Fighting Butt, although the 7 and 8 do include this (see photos).
