The best triggerfish flies! Triggerfish are awesome and very popular to pursue in the Indian Ocean, Seychelles, Alphonse Island, all those exotic places. HOWEVER, many people don't realize we also have a decent variety of them right here in Florida and I've caught a few. Mainly going to be in the Keys (and beyond that, the Caribbean in general) lurking along shallow reef areas. The colorful ones are obviously easiest to spot. They like to munch on little crabs and shrimp so that's what I have highlighted here, although most likely your larger Bonefish or smaller Permit flies will work fine too. They do have very powerful bite strength so that's one thing to keep in mind, they could crush small flies/hooks. If you're a diver, you can actually hear them crunching stuff underwater if they are nearby.

Side Note: I'm probably the only guy at any fly shop nerding out so much and making such a specific fly collection for you guys but if you know me, then you know I love what I do. Personally I think the Picasso Triggerfish are one of the most incredible colorations of any fish, so if you haven't seen those, check them out. I want to have these very specific collections for you to go after all the coolest and most unique fish out there. As always, let me know if you need any help.
