Orvis Helios™ D in Blue - New Color!
Check it out here! Orvis Helios D 8wt in Blue
I would love to tell you this new color was made just for me and Salt Fly Pro, given my penchant for panache, but it will get to all the dealers eventually. As usual I couldn't wait so I pestered Orvis to send me some. One's for me, you guys can fight over the rest.
It's the same popular Helios D 8wt (9'0") but what customers refer to as the "label" or branding/logo area is now blue instead of white. Same price, which is great. Made in USA, of course. Both this and the "normal" white label will continue to be sold for those of you allergic to color or preferring a more monochrome aesthetic. Who wants my old 8wt Helios? This with the (also new) Blue RATIO reel... yeah it's very nice. I will update the Orvis combos with that new reel soon as well.
