Thomas & Thomas Lotic II (2) Review - Fun New Fly Rods with a Classic Look & Feel
Finally a fun new rod to review instead of all the serious saltwater gear you guys love to stress out about. Relax! Fly fishing is about having fun. Glass rods like this one are perfectly oriented toward the fun end of the spectrum and away from the tiresome "maximum performance" debate.
Build quality is top tier as with all other Thomas & Thomas products I have reviewed thus far. So it's nice to see this rod listed at a more fun price of $695 rather than over $1,000+ like most nice rods these days.

You may notice this new rod has some major cosmetic changes from the previous version (the color used to be blue) in addition to some great new hardware. There are also new sizes! There's an awesome 6wt which you may notice has the same reel seat as the T&T Sextant which I sell all the time! I plan to use this rod in saltwater too. It's fun!
Carp and Buffalo enthusiasts are definitely going to have a blast with these new 6wt rods.

Here's the list of all the current models / sizes: (All are 3-piece designs)
