Cortland Pike Musky Fly Line - Sink 8

Featuring a 30ft type 8 sinking head with Intermediate running line, each line is over weighted to load rods deep and generate maximum power to deliver large flies. A 15ft handling section and slightly over-sized running line aids in control and hook sets.

Our Specialty Series Pike Musky Sink 8 features a 30 ft. type 8 sinking head with a short 3 ft. front taper for turning over large, air-resistant flies. The short 3 ft. back taper helps load this line quickly and makes it extremely shootable. Intermediate running line removes any hinges in the line and gives you a smooth transition into the depths. This line is built overweighted to load fast, powerful rods.

This dual colored line features our low stretch braided nylon core for consistent, powerful hook sets and ultimate stopping power. Our signature Shooting Technology keeps your line remaining slick, supple and fast shooting. The black and olive color combination distinguishes taper change and is traceable yet stealthy in Esox environments.
